Mr. Gabe Melgoza

Gabe Melgoza is the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel for Kerman Unified School District. Gabe has 22 years of experience in education.
Gabe spent the first five years of his career as an elementary school teacher for Mendota Unified School District, where he taught 2nd Grade.
In 2006, Gabe joined the Kerman Unified School District as a first-grade teacher at Kerman-Floyd Elementary. The following year he joined the fourth-grade team, where he taught for two years before transitioning to administration.
As an administrator, Gabe has been Assistant Principal of Kerman Middle School, Learning Director of Kerman High School, Assistant Principal of Liberty Elementary, Assistant Principal of Goldenrod Elementary, and Principal of Kerman-Floyd Elementary before moving to his current Assistant Superintendent of Personnel position.
Gabe obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies at Fresno State University, his Master of Science in Educational and Instructional Technology from National University and Administrative Credentials at Fresno Pacific University.
Gabe is a proud graduate of Kerman High School. He has three children, ages 20, 18, and 15. You will find him enjoying many extra-curricular student activities and athletic events his children participate in. He currently has two college students, attending San Diego State University and Fresno City College.
