How to Apply to Become a Classified Substitute:
Interested applicants should submit a classified application found on www.edjoin.org.  The application should be submitted along with a High School diploma and any other required information for the position which they are applying for.

Additional Required Information:
Bus Driver:
     * Current H6 DMV print out
     * Green Medical Card
     * CA Special Driver Certificate
     * Valid CA Commercial Driver's License

Grounds Maintenance/Custodian:
     * Current DMV print out

Bilingual Instructional Tutor & Special Education Tutor:
     * District Proficiency test (given by appointment only, please call (559) 843-9052 to schedule your exam)
     
Secretary II:
     * District Proficiency test (given by appointment only, please call (559) 843-9052 to schedule your exam)

Hourly Rate of Pay:
The hourly rate of pay varies by position for which the person is substituting in:
     Bilingual Instructional/Special Ed. Tutor – $16.22
     Bus Driver – $19.75
     Cook – $16.33
     Grounds Maintenance/Custodian – $17.40
     Secretary II – $18.78
