    KMS Distance Learning

Our teachers are currently preparing work for our students. There are a number of ways for students to access this work. All KMS Students will receive an email with an invitation to view the “KMS Distance Learning” folder, which will contain assignments from all KMS classes. Therefore, if you have internet access, you do not need to contact the school. Students who do not have internet access will be given packets of work, which will be picked up from the KMS office or for bus riders - work can be delivered to the student’s bus stop, if requested.

Starting on Thursday, March 19, parents who want packets of work, must either call or email their request. We have set up a dedicated email address for these requests: KMShomeworkrequest@kermanusd.com. Please include the student’s first and last name, grade, ID #,  and if you want to pick it up or get it delivered to your child’s bus stop.

If you would like to request work by phone, please call the main office (559-843-9604 or 559-843-9603 or 559-843-9648), starting on Thursday, March 19.

*We ask that you do not come to our campus to request work in person.

Work pick up from the school will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 as follows:

    8th grade - from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

    7th grade - from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

It will be a drive up service only. Come through the drive in front of the office, stay in your car, let us know your students name, and we will bring their work out for them. This will continue, every other week, until school is back in session. The next pick up date will be the Tuesday after Spring Break, April 14. Your students will keep their work and turn it in when we return from the school closure. Thank you for your partnership in your child’s education. We are always available for questions or concerns. If you need help in any way, please reach out to us. Thank you for your patience as we do our best to meet the needs of every one of our students.
