This week we’re excited to highlight Mr. Victor Cano, one of our wonderful Spanish teachers! Mr. Cano leads with passion and truly cares about the success and growth of his students. His positive attitude and dedication make a real difference in the classroom and throughout our KHS community.
Fun fact, he also enjoys cooking and trying new recipes (and we’re sure they’re delicious!). Thank you, Mr. Cano, for the care you bring to our students every day. We appreciate you!
This week we’re celebrating Ms. Terra Whitesitt, one of our amazing English teachers! From working the Burger King drive-thru at 15 to skydiving (yes, twice!) even though she’s afraid of heights, she’s proof that courage isn’t about not being scared, it’s about doing it anyway.
Thank you, Ms. Whitesitt, for pushing our students to challenge themselves and grow with confidence. We appreciate you!
This week we’re featuring Ms. Dykstra, our Agricultural Teacher & one of our FFA Advisors! From being a lifeguard in Visalia to earning her degree in Ag Education from Fresno State, Ms. Dykstra’s journey is a great example of growth, courage, and passion. Thank you, Ms. Dykstra, for inspiring our students to try new things, chase their goals, and believe in themselves. We appreciate all you do for KHS! ✨
Mrs. Calderon serves as our Math Department Chair at KHS and is a true champion for student success. She is passionate about building strong relationships while helping students grow in confidence and skill in mathematics. From the classroom to leading Math and Chess Club, Ms. Calderon inspires our Lions to work hard, stay curious, and make the most of their four years at KHS. We are grateful for her positivity and commitment to our students.
