Congratulations to our Kerman High School Academic Decathlon team for placing 1st in their division and 3rd overall at the Fresno County Academic Decathlon this past Saturday. The team won many other awards, including most improved, 5th place in the Super Quiz, and over $2500 in student and team scholarships. 38 awards were also won by individual team members. Great job AcaDec!

Academic Decathlon at KHS is underway once again! Students began the three-day competition on Monday, January 26, and will conclude on Saturday, February 7. Events include four subject tests (math, art, economics, and music), the Super Quiz, and the Awards Ceremony.

We appreciate your continued support of our local decathletes. The Super Quiz (3:00 PM) and Awards Ceremony (6:30 PM) will be open to the public and held live at Sunnyside High School in Fresno on Saturday, February 7.

Please note that only the Super Quiz and Awards Ceremony are open to the public.
