Employment Opportunities
Kerman Unified School District posts all job openings on Edjoin.org. Websites posting positions for Kerman Unified should direct you to apply on Edjoin.org. Kerman Unified does not request any personal identification documents other than transcripts and credentials to apply for a position. Be extremely cautious if an online application asks you to submit sensitive information such as a copy of the front and back of your driver's license, social security number, passport, date of birth or credit card information. Kerman Unified will interview and meet with you in person. If you are offered employment, you will be asked to bring your personal identification to the Human Resources office.
Fingerprinting & Pre-Employment Tests
In accordance with California law, all applicants (classified and certificated) must have their fingerprints cleared before they are allowed to start a position. Fingerprinting is a critical part of the background check process, used to screen for any criminal history that may disqualify an applicant from working with students. In addition to fingerprinting, pre-employment tests may be administered to assess the skills, qualifications, and overall suitability of candidates for specific roles. These tests, along with the fingerprinting process, help ensure that individuals hired for positions in schools meet both legal and professional standards, contributing to a safe, effective, and trustworthy educational setting.
