Kerman Unified Announces Hiring of Kerman High Head Girls Basketball Coach Charlie Barnes

Kerman High School continues to set the standard for excellence! We are proud to congratulate our students and staff on an incredible achievement finishing first in the Sequoia Division for the 10th consecutive year and earning the title of Overall Champion for the 3rd year in a row at the Fresno City College Career Skills Challenge. This remarkable accomplishment reflects the dedication, talent, and hard work of our entire school community. A special thank you goes to our outstanding ROP/CTE advisors for their leadership and guidance, and most importantly to our students, who once again performed at an exceptional level. Kerman High School announces that Head Football Coach Damon Jenkins will be leaving the program to accept a head coaching position at San Joaquin Memorial High School, effective January 1, 2026. The school will begin the search for its next Head Football Coach immediately.

As we begin another Academic Year, I would like to thank our students, parents, and family members for supporting our School District. We appreciate the partnerships we have to keep our students safe at school and engaged to perform their very best. I want to thank our dedicated employees who have committed themselves to helping our students thrive throughout the school year.
